Ever wished you could play a musical instrument? It’s easy with a proven teaching method called ‘Quick Start’, designed for folks over 50.

NO TALENT REQUIRED…NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Many people think they’d like to play the piano. It’s a wonderful instrument but it’s difficult to learn, takes years to master, and requires quite a bit of talent.

Learn to play the EZ way with two fingers and you’ll be playing a song instantly. It’s simple…your right hand plays the melody notes one letter at a time, your left hand plays by color. The music we use is easy to see, big note with the letter inside the note. You’ll be playing music at your first class and will be playing your favorite styles of music like the 50s, 60s, 70s, Country, Rock and Roll, Gospel and more, in no time. People have been learning to play like this since the late 60s!

Laugh and have some fun as you discover a relaxing new hobby, and fulfill the dream of making your own music. Designed for retirees, Quick Start will show you the joy and sense of satisfaction that only music making can bring to your life. You’ll also enjoy concerts, parties, and celebrations throughout the year.

Did you know learning to play makes you feel better? A recent study suggests that music making may actually help make active older Americans healthier. Group keyboard classes had significant effects on raising levels of human growth hormone having a positive impact on osteoporosis, energy levels, wrinkling, muscle mass, aches and pains. The same study showed significant decreases in levels of anxiety, depression and feelings of loneliness- 3 factors that are critical in coping with stress, stimulating the immune system and improving health. Relax, feel better and improve the quality of your life!

JOIN A QUICK START CLASS

You’ll meet once a week during the day for one hour for 7 weeks, in a group of people that become your friends. You’ll learn one song a week, one style of music a week, and at the end you’ll celebrate with a Special Graduation Party. Along the way you’ll enjoy several Special Events such as an Organ Concert, Restaurant Field Trip, Name That Tune Game Show Party, Ice Cream Social, POP Movie Theatre, and a Graduation Party. Friends and family are always welcome to the Special Events. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

You do not need to own an instrument. A loaner instrument is included to practice on.

If you enjoy Quick Start, you can continue. Our lesson program is graduated and has 12 levels.
